@demontales: Hopefully it’s not too obvious, so I’ll be interested to see how close your prognosis is :P
Interesting you should mention the gunfire as I had some problems depicting it. I’ve never done it in colour before and I found that my usual heavy inks for the muzzle flash looked plain odd outside pure B&W; in the end I inverted it and introduced reds and yellows along with a little distortion. Hearing that the effect works is a massive relief!
